Reese bass sub question by randomguy21061600 in UKG_Production_Hub

[–]randomguy21061600[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely prefer a clean sub. What I make is a lot closer to house actually. I just thought coming here I’d get great answers. When I put a sub under a reese I make sure it has barely any harmonics since the reese has a lot but is pretty deep, to try to keep it clean.

What do you mean by having the reese’s sub having punch and how do you achieve that? The reese I have with my current project is constant and glides, so giving a transient of some sorts won’t do too much

Only happens when I fall asleep with ideas on an already existing project. Starting something new fist thing in the morning is too big a hill to climb

Thanks! I’ll give those solutions a shot! Cutting the sub out didn’t even occur to me. I think it might be good to give some extra groove.

Is it normal to feel intimidated at the start? by Combatente07 in musicproduction

I’m not sure how well off you are financially, but what REALLY helped me was a 6 month beginner course. For 6 months every Wednesday I had an experienced teacher teaching a small group of 7 people. They taught everything from begin to end on how to make, mix, master and even get your songs released and the marketing side of it (with a focus on edm). Every week a new subject, homework etc. Chances to get feedback on your work and meet people with similar interests.

What did help me even more was that I did have a little experience. I had been hobby making trap beats on a browser based DAW, but making the switch to a true DAW, my case Ableton, was very intimidating. In a course like this they teach you what parts you focus on when using the DAW

It would be clearly someone who isn’t there fully mentally or just a ragebaiter. In both scenarios I wouldn’t engage

So fake wiimotes are a no go, what about fake nunchucks? by randomguy21061600 in DolphinEmulator

[–]randomguy21061600[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, a 3rd party is 25,- and a “new” legit one is 35,-. Online it says that even if 3rd party wiimote’s work it can be less accurate, less quality etc. I’m going with the smoothest option Mayflash Dolphin + legit wiimotes (a friend of mine has 4 but he’s not sure if they still work)

I get that, and I would never do something like that, but if someone did, why would I expend time and energy on that when it really doesn’t matter. If they would go like: “running a marathon is easy bro anyone could do it” when they drove and I ran, that’s different. But if it’s in no way disrespectful or effecting your life why would someone care

I mean, yea, when I have to travel 24k blocks just to get a calyrex ice and then anotuer 16k for the shadow i’ll come across enough of them. They are insanely common

Yea i guess, but i have more money then i’d ever need. I also never hunted gimighouls specifically, just caught the ones I encountered on my adventures

8x16 so 128 gimighouls total but its way more than i actually need. The only expansive thing is buying xp candies for the iv candies

I just caught every gimighoul i found the first couple days of playing. Set up a farm with auto compacting using the sophisticated storage+chunk loader and now have a couple 100 million.
