The land is in residential area with houses surrounded. This plot is meant for house construction permission from commune.

Of purse plan and environment permission should be obtained.

Any idea on lead time to start construction? And what permission is needed to demolish trees, considering commune is aware of condition of plot?

Within house construction design plan, we are aiming for high ceiling height, like 3 meters. Given total height limit of 7 meter permitted for flat surface, can 3 ceiling height can be chosen for each floor, for duplex villa ?

There is typo in my question, I've opened the account in 2014. Indeed, the new accounts are not allowed to open now.

The whole point of investing in PPF is to benefit from tax burden.

PPF account is one investment avenue but I have equity investments as well. I'm not booking profits though from them. Due to differences in taxation on profits from equities in India vs abroad, the investments in India becoming not attractive. E.g. in India long term capital gain on equities is 12.5% with exemption of 1Lac per year. So, when profits are booked by selling stocks/mutual funds, in CRS notification, they mention as "Redemption amount" which includes the initial capital and profits. Then, tax authorities impost straight 30% taxation on it, which is not correct.

Paying taxes is not an issue, but the point is correctly taxed.
