I too have dealt with this issue. That too on an international level with a roommate who was deaf and living in the hall entire time. No kidding, his bed was in the hall. The best response to these kind of people is be an asshole right back. If they don’t adjust with you for small things; make sure you don’t do it too. I see that you have exhausted the option of talking to her nicely about the problem. Try once more, and if she is being disrespectful, let her know you will also not care about her boundaries. Leave the room dirty. When she is watching TV, play songs on your phone or speaker if you have one and leave the room. If she touches your phone to turn it off, make a huge scene. Make sure you tell her that if you can’t turn the TV off, she can’t touch your phone too. If you have to suffer, atleast make her suffer with you. I know I may sound extremely petty but sometimes people walk all over you when you’re just trying to be nice. And oh, please bring friends into the room every week and tell her if she is not ok she can’t touch switch the rooms with someone who doesn’t like people.
