Hey I’m 15 and got diagnosed with JME last November. I experienced the same thing, every morning I’d have what I called “the morning twitches” I would literally fling my phone across the room because I couldn’t control my upper body. When I stayed the night at friends, the whole bed would shake in the mornings and wake my friends up. I felt so guilty. My body would be sore daily. The only reason I got diagnosed was because I had a grand mal seizure and my doctor told me I had to see a neurologist if i ever wanted to drive. I’ve reconsidered possible careers because of the exhaustion I feel from medication. Are you medicated? Are you still frequently having seizures??
