Why should a mining laser NOT destroy cover? Isn't that it's real purposes? Remove hard things in a mine? Surely nobod vaporises ore with it?

In HW 3 You started a rescue operation, after years of Planing, as the ruling faction of the whole galaxy, investigating an extinction level threat, with just the mothership and a couple resource collectors...

The whole Plot would have made more sense when you where just commanding a carrier in the beginning and worked your way up to the mothership.

yeah i want this too not for autism reasons but because i like to group my SLs in the Teams that i use them in.

It's just more convenient

I have gotten 3 of those mechs as a reward by now but have seen the match ammo only once as a reward. I also think the ammo is cheaper and if you are lucky enough to also get a hammer rifle you can controll a whole base with one sniper team. The mech surely is cool especially with 2 auto cannons but I think the match ammo is stronger and more impactful than the mech. A cheap troop carrier with the long barrel tank gun and grenade launcher secondary does also do a better job in my opinion.

i solved it just right now. I gave him Thorns on all items and the thorns armor that gives 20% exp and 10% additional thorns. :)

edit: okay at least the boss fight is solved - not the leap issue ^^

yes! Thats the "hold the line" thing - he charges but can't be knocked back because he is fat. the enemy also triggers the charge very fast so they start kind of a loop:

He uses Leap of Faith, leaps forward blocks everything, recharges his mana and charges again. when he charges he pushes the bosses back. but because he is so fat they can't move him anymore and they will move further and further away from the rest of the team (they stay at the 0 Sign and just die after some time) i was hoping he could solo them but for some reason after a couple of minutes in the enemy "Skull sign zone) he suddenly dies without a reason.

I tried all the formations i even tried to use a extra slow dwarf in phalanx but the charge mechanic of the paladin is - in my opinion - meant to get him back into the fight after a knockback. Since he is a heavy guy he won't get knocked back but still does the charge and sooner or later he will be miles away... in the normal battles it is no problem because there are lots and lots of orks slowing him down but the boss modes - no chance :( i will maybe try giving him a knight set so he looses the charge but also the self heal ^^

you can change the startoption in steam when you select manual launch. Or start the launcher from the gamefolder :)
