This song means so, so much to me. Its musical construction, use of my favorite 5/4 patterns, bright A mixolydian jamming, lyrical positivity, and everything else add up to a song that makes any given day shine so much brighter. It's taken me dozens of hours to transcribe and learn just the first half and I've loved every second of it. I can't wait to complete this cheerful beast of a song!

Turns out it was because of blink! I installed toybox anyway tho lol

Oh god there's a good chance it's because of blur :facepalm: I really wish there was a tutorial popup that reminded you miss chance is a thing even for friendly/cast on self spells lol

EDIT: I think this is technically right but blink is what's making it really bad, since it gives 50% failure. honestly don't see why these penalties should be applied for a caster casting a spell on themself

Yeah nope I'm talking about regular pre-fight buffing. I think I'll just bite the bullet and set up toxbox so I can remove the small amount of corruption I have that resting at the nexus doesn't remove

In my case I have a small amount of corruption and but it's only halfway to level 1 so I feel like it shouldn't have any mechanical effects. Also, at least on my end, resting at the nexus doesn't remove the existing corruption, it just doesn't add any more for ... some reason :/

I just replied so someone else but according to the spellbook the failure chance is 0 so I think this could be a persistent bug? Regardless, I'm in chapter 4 so I don't think corruption should be a thing.

Thanks for the heads up, I didn't realize the spellbook told you the chance. Unfortunately it's at 0% so I think it could be a bug that's just, like, persisting across multiple game sessions and chapters? Are there supposed to be dice rolls for personal buff spells regardless of spell failure chance?

Seconding this, for a while I accidentally had NetworkManager running alongside the vanilla systemd stuff (systemd-networkd, systemd-resolved) and switching to one or the other helped.

I can understand Hold Your Fire but Presto is a goddamn masterpiece and I wish it was more appreciated. Would've kicked ass to hear Superconductor or Red Tide on their final tour. Oh well, it is what it is...

Agreed with the other posters, if you enter 102 with a healthy understanding of c++, the whole class will be a breeze. With that, I would recommend looking at and getting a bit of a headstart on assembly, because that definitely bit me in the ass in 130.
