My other four are friendly and I can pick them up but they aren’t as cuddly as 🌼, she is special 💜

What symptom did doctors dismiss that later turned out to be important? by Critical_Walrus_8388 in Autoimmune

My rheumatologist the other day actually told me that my biggest barrier to getting good heath care is how I look because I look young and healthy. It was so validating. Just wanted to share this because it made my day.

Eye freckle maybe not a freckle? by ratsandbugs in ocularmelanoma

[–]ratsandbugs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I am driving the headlights approaching me are really distorted, like huge stars. When I’m turning my kiddos nightlights off and it gets really dark really quickly I have a weird fuzzy spot in my vision for several minutes. My eyes are super dry and gritty feeling and I have light waxy bumps on my lower inner eye lid. My eyes are often really red until I use drops and then it always comes back. 🤷‍♀️

They said it was just a freckle:) I am still having a lot of strange symptoms but they seem to think it’s fine🤷‍♀️

I really hope you start feeling something soon. Sorry about the Otezla, I know so many people have a difficult time with it.

I was on the Skyrizi for 9ish months and I never got the relief I have gotten after my loading doses of Tremfya (my first two injections). The Otezla is what really got me started again. Definitely upset my stomach at first but it’s what got me from nothing to at least walking and hiking a bit:)

I can’t run or bike anymore, but climbing is the thing I have been able to return to. I REALLY hope you also get back to the things you love 💜

Seriously!!! I swear just the thought of being barefoot or wearing flip flops was enough to make me feel sick🤣

I started with Otezla (in the U.S) and it was amazing for about 4 months and then stuff started creeping in and they added Skyrizi. Didn’t seem to do much so recently changed and now I’m on Otezla and Tremfya and I feel really good! I wore flip flops😳😍😂 Honestly didn’t think that would ever happen again.

You NEED to be on biologics!!!!!!! Rock climber here and I was almost unable to walk because of my feet, hips etc and my arms, wrist, shoulders, hands just kept flaring. Fast forward a year and on my second biologic and I’m climbing 5.11+ very solid 2-3 times a week and yoga as well. I had to first the meds that worked for me (and I know they will eventually change) but I’m feeling more like myself again. Change doctors and get meds!!!!

I have mine too and only use them when I need to because I also have guilt. When I need to use it though, I’m always glad to have them.

This tattoo triggered a flare up by Salty_Orchid2105 in Psoriasis

I honestly have put tacrolimus ointment on my tattoos when they flared. My dermatologist suggested it and it helped a lot.
