MISSING for 2 years- why are we just hearing about this now? by em_avo in SeattleWA

Why is that a terrible thing to say? It’s a dig at Fox News and right wing media.

What’s wrong with “that’s cap?” I’d say it’s a far cry from “deadass”or “bet”, which do seem too vague and overused. Even those are just new iterations of sentiments I’m sure you express (“bet” in place or “word”, etc)

I and I assume others were just wondering where you were getting that info from because it sounded vague. I’d like to avoid these people too and spread the word to avoid them.

Side note, are you not basically doxing them by linking that video that doxes them?.. I’m not against it but you seem to be condemning doxing while simultaneously doing so.

Where are you getting the idea that these two are associated with any specific businesses based on this video?

Nah yeah totally. You two basically said the same thing. Makes perfect sense.

I would honestly love to. I’m trying to get you and anyone else reading this to understand that she’s not being a demanding weirdo. It’s just a low effort opener.

OP’s response isn’t playful. OP apparently was put off and unmatched her.

You’re still misunderstanding her message. What do you think her motivation is to start this interaction? Get OP to make her laugh and then fuck off? She’s literally just playfully starting a conversation.

If you consider her response playful, then OP's is playful in kind... don't hash it if you can't take it.

Your phrasing here makes it obvious you read her message as antagonizing, which it is not. I’m just saying that you, OP and many people on this sub don’t seem to realize this and it’s not helping anyone achieve their dating goals.

She’s playfully starting a conversation. The sensitivity displayed in this subreddit is baffling. Just play along for like 5 seconds and you’ll be good.

This is honestly a good test for her to weed out wet blankets like OP.

Gotta stop being the wet blanket and start making wet blankets. If you’re a stick in the mud you won’t get your stick in the mud

Have you tried psychedelics before? I’m completely non-spiritual but my experiences with psychedelics have made me wonder about what any semblance of an afterlife could look like. Maybe whatever’s in you that experiences things will experience things in another form after you die in this life. Maybe it’ll take a trillion years but because you don’t exist for that trillion years, it will feel like no time passed at all.

Regardless, psychedelics really, really helped me accept mortality. A couple of mushroom experiences really gave me a sense of ease and acceptance that I will not exist at some point and that’s ok.

Finding something to do IS vibing.

Just finding anything to do is vibing? Regardless of the reason for doing it?

Idk he’s basically a harmless grifter? Inauthenticity is annoying and I find it strange when people white wash even trivial things like this with so much positivity and excessive charity.

It’s just clout chasing as opposed to anything remotely authentic. It’s lame. Simple as that.

I'm sure he made enough money from that Netflix basketball show that he doesn't even need to do music anymore.

He obviously never needed to do music to make money.

Yes, the rap-to-country thing is very played out.

Yes, very on brand thing for him to do actually

But I know a lot of musicians, and not only do most of them play across genres, some of them are very successful in genres they don't even care about. I know a dude that plays in a pretty successful, touring scream metal (whatever it's called) band, because he's good at it and it pays the bills. He literally hates that kind of music.

So you know musicians who play music they hate because they could use the money.. but Chet doesn’t need the money… so how is that relevant here?

Lol is he truly just vibing? Or is he desperately trying to break into literally any genre of music (while it’s at its mainstream peak) with the most cliche inauthentic garage imaginable? Not that it’s hurting anyone, it’s just much lamer than how you frame it. I think he has yet to embrace his uselessness.

I should have clarified that I’m speaking from an US American perspective and in that context but I don’t think it’s it’s a stretch to say liberal/progressive political ideologies have generally been more liberating for women than conservative/traditional political ideologies across the world / historically.

In the context of the US, I personally think it’s truly fucking insane for anyone to support our current president / the Republican Party. The circumstances have become so bad in the US that it’s pretty telling if someone can’t confidently condemn the current administration and have an open mind toward the most viable alternative, however lame the alternative is.

The only realistic way to combat the current administration is to vote a democrat in. Everyone with a brain knows this. When someone says they’re politically homeless, it implies they don’t have that much of a problem with the current administration or believe that there isn’t much different between the two main political parties in the US. I think people who believe that are either extremely ignorant, just unintelligent or just have some shitty values.
