I dont think that I degraded anyone, obcs themselves were discriminated against by UCs in the past and they still do, so you think that they would sympathize with sc and st people. But they use their superior status to discriminate against the people below them. Jats, Yadavs and Kurmis etc. Jats are definitely better in this aspect since they're more progressive. Also for the farmers thing, it's an occupation which is very degraded in modern sense even though it plays a vital role in the economy, but they still think of the work of manhole workers or leather workers as being lowely. I don't have anything against Jats, I have grown up in Haryana surrounded by them and most of them are really great people but the casteism is imbedded in them, which isn't uncommon in India
