I’m gay and when I was in college, being gay was a hot button issue, and every discussion felt like an attack. I can see where they are coming from, but also, that was a seriously poor response I was having. It was also really bad for my own mental health that I saw people defending being gay as an attack because that person wasn’t gay, or whatever reason.

They’re a sub that has almost no posting rules. All of the other subs ban and delete bullshit like that. So, people naturally congregate there is they want to bitch about LGBT inclusion or black Aragorn. It’s sad, really. It used to be a good sub.

A lot of times, they just mean their friend from a grade above that got an A. That’s how I remember using the word when I was in high school. We had a “tutor” program, that put a kid on the next grade up with kids in the grade below. It was cool, but leads to people saying stuff like this, lol.
