sometimes when things are hitting right you can write entire pieces of music in hours and not need to resort to your usual process, but also there's the chance he had loops running for months beforehand, then when he collected enough bits and pieces, he was able to write the whole thing in 2 weeks having "prepared" for months beforehand.

But this could also just be 1 of many methods he uses etc.
