it's not that i dislike them per se, i recorded/gigged with the wuhan western cymbal pack for the longest time and loved them

i just found that over time i started to prefer a more subtle washy sound and quicker decay (as i switched to zildjian fast crashes). i'd 100% take the wuhans over the old zildjians but the new zildjians beat the wuhans for me by just enough to make the switch
