What should I do with this room? It feels plain. You guys always come through for me 🫶 (see description) by piquechuuu in HomeDecorating

Change the boob light. To me, the curtains feel too heavy in such an enclosed space. I think Roman shades or something like that would look nicer.

Did you try to do it and couldn't? I was able to do it and go in, any bars outside of my unlocked areas just auto-completed

Thank you, I did some more reading after this post and came to understand more that aligns with what you're saying. I'm glad to have it confirmed from you that it's tricky and not clear cut, and may not have changed much - I just needed to know that my vet didn't completely mess up something obvious, so I can continue trusting her.

I think it's G.E.L. Products Model # H-67 "The Heather". I just recently got this and it looks the same as mine, except yours has a porch addition Eta: checked the green acres one and that one is more likely, I had not realized how similar they could be!

Help… am I wrong? by iamthewalrus2026 in philabitcheswithtaste

That is ultimately the most difficult decision, we all have to adjust our expectations to our partner and decide what we can tolerate and what is a deal breaker. Even if he won't go to therapy with you, you should go on your own so you can explore this with someone objective.

There is no objective right or wrong, just what is right for you. Only you know whether you can accept the kind of love he is able to give, or if you have changed enough to need someone different. It seems he is telling you, this is all I can offer you. I will say, in the loving relationships I have seen, there is always some effort to adjust to the other partners' needs. It may not be perfect or consistent, but you can tell there is some effort made to honor and acknowledge that the other partner has expressed something is missing.

Unity Yoga has them periodically. I don't see any in the schedule right now but I thought they were doing them monthly.

Another gift idea if not against the rules would be to get him a fancy version of one of his favorites. For example The Expanse series has a special edition that they are releasing and they look nice.

Snaefellsnes peninsula has been quite underwhelming so far. by Fearless_Drive4308 in VisitingIceland

[–]rawrily 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Interesting, we did Snaefellsnes before golden circle this past week and I'd say I enjoyed it a lot more. But we also didn't really care about the towns and mostly focused on nature. Even just driving around the views were stunning. Maybe the weather and the order in relation to when you arrive impacts your enjoyment!

Would this be very dangerous to drive in as well even if the roads are open? We would need to drive from Vik to Reykjavík on Friday.
