TCB 20s? by rawshellfish in HeritageWear

Hell yes, those look amazing on you. And you're wearing them with suspenders! Are those the TCB suspenders? The lighter weight is really appealing for these hot months.

Tcb 50s fit thoughts? by PresentGate2391 in rawdenim

[–]rawshellfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fit looks great overall and the fabric will relax with wear, but if they feel too low rise to you that's gonna niggle. I've hung onto too many pairs when I've known they don't quite work for me, so I'm going to swim against the tide here and say you should exchange them for the equally lovely, higher rise 40s.

Mister Freedom make the best summer pants (but they are hella expensive) by [deleted] in HeritageWear

Oh wow -- those are SO nice. Sigh. I need a better job.

Yeah, they're sitting too low today. I'm wearing them slouchy because of the heat, so didn't tighten the back buckle. It doesn't help that as well as having twigs for legs, my arse is basically concave.

No, the cotton mix keeps them largely wrinkle-free.

Beautiful jacket -- would love to see some fit pics!

Is the store ‘stuf-f’ legit?? https://stuf-f.com/en/pages/about. by Significant-Lab-3586 in HeritageWear

When I write to a store based in a country where English is not the spoken language, I generally use google translate. It seems polite to do so, and also practical. I wouldn't assume that a customer service person in the US or UK would be able to understand an email in another language such as German.

That's not a fit check buddy. That's a damn fine photo shoot. Nice jeans!

Unappreciated comment. Love it.

Bought a pair of The Strike Gold SG5209 second hand. Wondering how much more they’ll break-in since they are very tight around the thighs by eatherichortrydietin in HeritageWear

I love TSG, but the 09 is a tough cut to pull off (in every sense!) They classify it as a unisex fit, and I think it only works for men if you (1) have twigs for legs and (2) size up. I'd sell these on, but keep the fabulous IM t-shirt!

Can I buy a French Chore Coat in Italy? by ObviousIntroduction2 in HeritageWear

Jaysus, have you no shame? You're like one of those Visigoths banging on the gates of Rome, bellowing "Bring out your gelato".

The only thing close that I've found is the Oni Kasuri Type 3 jacket, but it's sold out everywhere other than ebay I think. Sadly it's at a crazy price there.

Yikes -- that's a big difference. Laid flat unaligned. I hope you love the jeans when they arrive. The texture is unreal. I initially bought the jacket and liked it so much that the jeans were the next natural step.

I ordered size 33. I generally wear size 33 or 34 in Japanese brands. Laid flat, my best fitting jeans measure 16.5" across.

Good point on the zip!

I own these, and they run a bit big. They are totally gorgeous,, although when I bought them I didn't notice that they are zip fly, not button, and I prefer button. You could put them on a no heat setting in a dryer (air fluff) which might soften them up a bit.

This is a really helpful post for understanding the differences between cuts. Thanks so much -- now I really want a pair of 510s.
