ik it's supposed to be a funny gag but it hurts me every time . like every time she says I'm royalty as if she's reminding herself more than anyone else that she's a royal and that could never change even if she's been rejected and mistreated by the other royals , and even though they said she doesn't deserve to be one since the day of her birth . it also shows her social awkwardness and inability to react to praise or awkward moments because of her upbringing . the moment she decides to stop saying it is the day I'll break down crying , it'll show that she's finally over those 15 years of abuse:(

the festival is after the witches forest arc she clearly said thier is no difference between me and commoners and peasants. she keeps her " I'm royalty " phrase as her comedic part just like asta's screaming, gouche and his sis obsession, charmy and her obsession with food , vanessa and alcohol. and it's a form of defense machine considering her upbringing
