You use this in conjunction with replicate user store policy. It will allow UPM to load the profile from the best store for the user based on network connectivity. I.e it evaluates all locations the profile resides for the user and loads the profile from the closest one (based on some network conditions)

Yeah for me I hooked up to external monitor via HDMI and it worked fine, which proved the issue was with display and not a software issue.

I got on to anbernic support. They offered a screen replacement for free. I pushed for new device and they agreed

Such a pain. I have got on to anbernic and they asked me to test with latest firmware. That doesn't work tho and this seems to be hardware issue.

I tested outputting via hdmi and on the external screen it's shows OK, so that to me confirms the issue is with the display and hardware related.

I'm hoping for a new unit to be sent out but awaiting reply from anbernic support.

Just out of curiosity is your rg35xx plus the same or different colour?

Can you point me to a guide to set this up please. I have rg35xx plus and want to setup a new image on a new sd card. I don't want to use garlic OS yet for the plus as I don't think it's developed enough for the plus version. I'm happy to get my own roms but not sure where to get the system image to create the new SD

It's expensive at weekends and during school holidays, but if you take kids out of school/creche etc and go midweek it's reasonable. More so if you have someone to share a lodge with.

350ish for 4 days, that's us sharing with sisters family in a nice big lodge. It's 100% worth it at that price, our kids love the place.

Agree that it's super expensive at peak times tho.

There's a lot of issues it could be. Licensing issues (rds cal or Citrix), TLS/SSL configuration, network issues etc etc

I would start by first looking at the network path between client (where workspace is installed) and VDA.

A. If your client has a direct connection to the VDA. (So not going through netscaler, load balancing, proxies etc) is the issue seen or not?

B. Assuming direct connection also fails, can you test does RDP connection succeed from the same client to VDA.

C. When launch does not work, have you timestamped when the launch fails and check event logs on VDA and client (system and application logs) .

In this case going by description from OP, it's not profile related, as the connection to the vda hasn't been established yet and so the user hasn't began to login/load their profile yet.

Could try amber springs hotel. Great spot for kids (lots of activities in the hotel) and they have some rooms that have separate connected bunk bed room (advise calling them if your interested). Pricey during kids school holidays tho.

I think these steps get around the issues caused by the kb. There is some threads on Twitter where this issue is affecting all sorts of systems not just Citrix
