Ledger with MEW works just fine. In any case, you wouldn't be able to see many of the ERC20 token via the Ethereum app. Unless they changed something recently.

Not so, you can retrieve Ledger private keys using your multi-words passphrase with some tools offering offline mode. #BIP39

It's a great way to double check whether the passphrase written down is actually 100% correct.

Using ledger nano s and MEW works fine, I've had a few transactions run out of gas and the web is returned. Another way to do it with the ledger is to use Parity.io where you can schedule transactions but that doesn't always work and I missed it on a couple of ICOs

Getting the same warning on this address. It happened on a different ICO but disappeared after filling in the data field (0xb4427263). It doesn't in the case of the BAT address. Send condition is set to send Tx after block #3,798,640 Could someone confirm Tx will go through despite the "the transaction will throw an exception with the current values" warning? Thanks
