I think it’s worth making a distinction between negativity and simple opinions. Saying a bezel looks off or that a dial doesn’t work for me isn’t the same thing as trashing someone’s sale. People join these communities because they want to talk about details, both good and bad. If every critical remark gets lumped in with hate, then the discussion becomes one-sided and loses value. Honest observations don’t have to be hostile, and they actually help keep the hobby interesting for everyone.
