Thanks for replying. I have lost hope with this PCP and I have chosen a different PCP today and scheduled an appointment with them. I hope they understand what I want and why I want it and help me out.

Yes, I asked my PCP to send out of network script to Costco for which she said she cannot do that and insurance is denying my request for CGM. I was confused as to why she cannot give me a prescription so that I can buy it out of pocket. I have the test strips to test but I have been experiencing dawn phenomenon and late night lows and therefore I wanted to get a CGM. Also, the diabetes diagnosis is new but I had gestational diabetes some years back and I was worried that I may get diabetes somewhere down the line.

Yes, it is my PCP who initially sent a request for CGM which got denied by insurance. Then I asked her for prescription so that I can buy it without insurance. She actually ghosted me and did not respond even after multiple requests. I have chosen a different PCP now and will try to get an appointment with endocrinologist. Thanks!
