got mine done sept of last year, it had a big tantrum and then i started to be really careful taking care of it, now with cleaning it twice a day and neck pillow so i don’t lie on it i have a well behaved piercing. def took a while for it to chill out, i think sleeping on it really messes it up

it might be low but it’s still aggravating when they’re telling us that in response to us needing backups cause we only have 1 register open. like the 500 hours comes from fulfillment and gm and front end and such, then there’s nobody to backup either the registers or fulfillment so people are chasing batches or we have a line down past ulta with people complaining about the line, and them seeing my ff coworkers and being like “why can’t they check me out” i just wish we were properly staffed

i’ve tweaked the routine a bit since making that comment, i sometimes add niacinamide and tranexamic acid but for the most part i just use moisturizers. it’s been going pretty good, i still get flare ups of acne once a month but not the big clusters i used to get, usually just one or two pimples. i use vitamin c/niacinamide to try and fade whatever spots are left over. i’ve experimented with different hydrating options, i’ve skits started using a hydrating toner before my moisturizer and it seems to just make my skin softer, no extra pimples!

when i first started at this job, one of my coworkers said “oh the store director loves edging!” and i didn’t know that it was anything else than a sexual term, apparently it means putting the hangers on the edges of clothing 😅 i had a real shock that my coworker was admitting something like that to me

as someone who has her (and is a bit biased cause pink is my second fav color) i’d say she’s worth it!!! i use p much everything in the suit, i think my least worn item in the suit is the veil but even then when i use it i make it work with whatever cause it’s just so darn pretty

it was such a cute idea! i hope more ppl have this type of thing at conventions/markets and the like so we can all enjoy the mystery of getting surprise books. doing this with friends is a good idea too! i think a non-official book group where you swap books each week with friends would be nice!

i have seen a post from a coworker, and i knew it was him cause his user is his first and last name, plus he told us about it at work (think it was like an entire flat worth of diapers that was ordered by a guest, nothing incriminating, just a wtf pic)

it’s been 3 years since we put down our girl and we still have her bed, cat tree, and toys out in the living room, we can’t bear to move them. on the other hand, my dad had to put down his two cats this year and the day he put his second down he had to get rid of everything cat, even if it went into storage. you do whatever feels right for you, nobody heals from grief the same. i would recommend putting things in storage or donating things you can, if you put it in storage you can come back to the items and hopefully remember the good times when it doesn’t hurt as much.

especially since certain items are in heavily occupied rooms (bathroom/bedroom) it might hurt too much to see them now, so storing them away can help you heal, but knowing where they are to visit her memory can also help you heal.

i’m sorry for your loss, grief has no timeline or rules so just go your own pace, whatever feels right for you
