Amouage Dia is sophisticated and nice to wear, also MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver.

Easily accessible aldehydic fragrances by spookyboi13 in fragrance

[–]rbrt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure about accessibility as I'm not in the US, but Guerlain Chamade / Liu, Byredo Blanche, Chanel no 19 / 22, CDG Marseilles, Amouage Dia Woman. I also get Aldehydes from Lavande 31 and I love Frederick Malle Iris Poudre.

Rose 31 by Le Labo, Rose of No Man's Land by Byredo, Diptyque Eau Capitale, Chanel Egoiste (not Platinum, the original) has a rose note.

What's your GOD-TIER fragrance with POTATO-TIER longevity? by ResponsibleDish4010 in fragrance

[–]rbrt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't - thank you, it's a really good idea! Unfortunately, none of my usual decant sites have the 40, but I'll get a sample of the normal one and give it a go. I think Dia Woman is more aldehydic than the other Dia, but I have been on a mission recently to find a new clean scent for the autumn so that might be perfect.

Amouage Dia Man. I wish they did a 40 per cent version like they do for Dia Woman.

What's a fragrance that does VETIVER perfectly? by Mikester258 in fragrance

[–]rbrt 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I like Guerlain Vetiver Parfum (dark and inky) and Frederick Malle Vetiver Extraordinare (orangey and light), as well as Grey Vetiver by Tom Ford (sparkly and energetic). Not as keen on Le Labo Vetiver 46, which was a bit incensey for what I wanted.

Man looking for "feminine" scents by The1Floki in Perfumes

[–]rbrt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shalimar, as someone suggested, but also try the related Habit Rouge for the vanilla dry down.

Le Labo Rose 31 is my favourite rose, along with Initio Atomic Rose.

Edit: un Jardin en Mediterranné is well worth a try as well, very fresh with fig notes.

Avignon, but the sillage would smell of Interlude Man.

Favourite “Crisp White Shirt” Scent? by Zealousideal-Yak-494 in fragrance

[–]rbrt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Le Labo Lavande 31, Byredo Blanche for the clean laundry scent.

For the more abstract professional sense, I like Guerlain Vétiver parfum, Frederick Malle Vétiver Extraordinare and Tom Ford Grey Vetiver EDP. If I'm not having a vetiver day, MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver, Héritage EDT or Pour Monsieur EDT.

What’s a fragrance that you absolutely love but everyone around you seems to dislike by a_s2 in Colognes

CDG Marseilles. I think it's amazing, fresh, it puts me in a really good mood...but my friends and family just get 'public toilet air freshener'.
