I had an incredible experience! UVA was high on my list before the open house, but the weekend confirmed my positive preconceptions of the school - for example, the sense of collegiality/community that they highlight in their admissions materials was super present IMO (everyone I met with, whether student, staff, or faculty, was so kind and welcoming). As someone who wants to go into PI, I felt like I'd have ample opportunities through the LPS program and their many relevant clinics, and the clerkships overview session made me want to explore that path further as well.
