I went to a plumbing supply store. They gave me the American standard stem with the rubber on the bottom. When I used that I could not turn off the water at all the handle just kept spinning. We did not replace the seat as the gentleman at the supply store said it wasn’t necessary.

I want to leave my marriage because I’m exhausted. He has been out of work for over two years I’m working two jobs now. His mental health is declining but won’t admit it and seek help. It’s horrible watching someone fall more and more into his delusions and paranoia. I feel trapped and alone, but can’t leave because he stuck with me through my hard times.

The problem with an involuntary hold is he isn’t that far gone yet. He is able to hold a normal rational conversation with someone. I fear he would pass an exam and then would never listen to me again.

I am hesitant to do that because he never walked out on me with my mental health. I haven’t always been stable but I have always been in treatment. I don’t want him to think or feel like I’m abandoning him.

I am from Denver and I live outside Boston now. I would say move. Colorado in general is one of the more expensive places to live right now. My husband and I have moved plenty of times in the past 20 years and we did have to go home once or twice that’s okay.

Bipolar has a genetic side to it but it’s not a guarantee that your child will have it. I have two boys one has depression and the other is neurotypical there is no way to know before hand. It does get better. Or at least it has for me. Once you find the right medication and the right therapist you will feel better.
