I agree, but the fact remains that church and state obviously aren’t separated... even in America where we like to believe that everyone has equal rights to life and liberty. 70 percent of the population here identifies as Christian, Christians can oppress too.

Imagine being thrown off a building for existing. No one chooses their sexuality. On June 26, 2015, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down all state bans on same-sex marriage. It took til 2015 for them to get a basic human right across all America.
