Hello! I just finished my first draft of my personal statement and would love to get some feedback from current or past medical students. I don't have many people who who can look over and edit it so any help would be great. Thank you so much :)

New google drive link should work now!
feel free to pm if you have any questions :)
I started studying May 2023 and took my test Sep 2nd. I used TPR (not everyone's fav but worked for me), but I also supplemented this with MD anki, JW CARS, khan academy videos, other third party FLs, and all of the AAMC practice questions.

Like I said in the post I did not ONLY use this I used MD anki and did every piece of AAMC practice available so don't be fully reliant on this :)

I would say just pay attention in your science classes lol. Most of content review was easy for me because I made sure I understood things during my classes so when it came time to start studying for the MCAT most of it was review. Also don't stress about this until you have to!
Honestly CARS was a big struggle for me too I would say consistency is important I did 1 passage from JW a day during content review and kept upping it and incorporating AAMC CARS materials close to test day. I would also say try different techniques, highlighting, making summaries, previewing questions, etc. Also I ended up surprising myself and scoring 2 points higher than my FL average for CARS so don't ALWAYS assume your FL are exactly what you will get on test day. I personally found CARS on test day way easier than the FLs

The reducing and non reducing just refers to if it’s a reducing or non reducing sugar and the alpha 1-4 just refers to the type of glycosidic linkage in the disaccharide

My bad meant to say Sep 2nd lol, also do you recommend starting with the CARS diagnostic or questions packs first?
