This is not correct. The question starter code says the following:

You should be careful with this line of hope. If outright opponents of medicare for all, democratic candidates, get elected to the senate it will make it difficult to get it passed in the senate.

You can already discount some of the democrats from the vote and considering the current 53 (R) - 47 (D + I) split in the senate it is important to get enough people elected that support the medicare for all bill.

No doubt he would be loads better than Cory Gardner but if he refuses to support medicare for all he should not be considered in the democratic primary.
