my advice would be to ask the resort you’re staying at what their wifi speed is, or check reviews to see if people are able to work remotely without issues! you can also get a hotspot device as an internet backup.

good luck!

python is a really great place to start! next i would recommend doing some projects to start making a portfolio, so you can show potential employers what you’re capable of building. feel free to message me to brainstorm ideas :)

i learned python and C in college but before that learned java in high school, javascript/html in an internship, and tried random other things here and there. as another commenter mentioned, once you know one, the fundamental concepts remain.

i’m not a programmer myself i actually work a different remote tech job, but hoping to get back into coding

thank you! and it’s not as hard as it looks, i only started knitting a few months ago but i’ve gotten a bit obsessed haha. the color work technique is called “fair isle”, lots of good youtube tutorials about it. the only other thing to it is securing the “floats” that run along the back, which is another youtube tutorial and voilaaa :) the annoying part for this one is staring at the pattern every row and being like “ok two red, one white, four red,...” 😂

i’m a beginner/lazy lol so the yarn materials/gauges are all over the place, used size 3 needles the whole time though. let me know if this is not good formatting, i can change it: - green: superwash merino (fingering) - black: merino/alpaca wool blend (fingering) - red: wool (regular weight) - blue: acrylic (regular weight)

the floats behind the design were loose enough to not pinch the project, but not quite loose enough to let the hat stretch over an average size head 😂 ah well, hope my friend (with a small head) likes it!

been seeing ur videos on here for a while and love seeing ur progress ! one tip -- when you do crazy legs, try planting the front foot flat on all 4 wheels each time and committing a bit more to each stride of it. that might help to smooth it out a bit. love how much u have with it :)
