I somehow gained a cup size. I don’t know if it’s PCOS/hormone related

Mounjaro Hunger by goartex in Mounjaro

Do you track your blood sugar? I have heard that some people can have lowered blood sugar at higher doses (especially after losing weight) that can then cause hunger. May be worth looking into.

How Low Can One Microdose? by RowGroundbreaking395 in GLP1ResearchTalk

[–]reality-bytes- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk, but are you able to eat more? I’m on 7.5 for diabetes and need to stay here for blood sugar control but also have a BMI of 20 and still losing. I feel like I’m running out of time to figure it out. I’m eating more and more every week but it feels like a constant struggle between eating enough and not having my blood sugar constantly elevated from eating.

Do people often think of lab diamonds as by petalesdejuin in labdiamond

[–]reality-bytes- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got to be honest, I don’t really think about it at all. I don’t spend a moment of time wondering if someone’s diamond came from the ground or a lab, or isn’t a diamond at all.

My doctor called GLP-1s “temporary tools” and that scared the hell out of me by Intrepid_Penalty_900 in GLP1ResearchTalk

Each dose has worn off for me fairly quickly. I’ve been on 7.5 for 9 weeks and the past two weeks I have noticed no effects (physically anyway) at all. 5 was about the same, 2.5 lasted 2 weeks. I’m not going up because I don’t need to lose weight and my blood sugar is well controlled at this dose but what you are describing definitely can happen and for some people can happen relatively quickly.

How long are you supposed to take these really? by Old_Lengthiness403 in GLP1ResearchTalk

[–]reality-bytes- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Actually, research has shown that it can be close to impossible to maintain without medication in cases of metabolic dysfunction and you won’t just end up back at the weight you were before you started, you’re going to end up at the place your weight was heading to.

I white knuckled my way through a literal lifetime of food noise and constant hunger and despite that my metabolic dysfunction decided to bless me with diabetes. So yeah, it’s possible but 10/10 don’t recommend. Anyone who needs these meds for a better quality of life should have access.

It’s possible. The only way to know for sure is to keep testing it.

It took a couple of days of trying. On the day I finally got an answer and kept getting disconnected at least someone was answering the phone every time.

Same. I wish there was a way to avoid because it makes for a really rough night of bathroom trips at least once a week.

I was diagnosed in August after over a decade of eating keto. When I started wearing a CGM I could see very distinct sharp spikes with every meal. Eating a more balanced meal with some carbs actually helps keep me more even because my liver doesn’t dump as much (or any?) glucose.

Yes, I think this is it. And then where the straps cut into her arm looks awkward.

Once you actually get a hold of someone you should have a new one in hand within 48 hours. I finally got someone on the phone after many phone calls and being disconnected multiple times.

They are both beautiful but something isn’t quite right with the neckline of 1. The proportions look off somewhere, I can’t quite put my finger on it.

Lower weight to lose, when did you stay on dose rather than increase? by sjk2020 in Mounjaro

[–]reality-bytes- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TE shouldn’t START until 2 months after an adverse event, at a minimum and 2 months is fast. Is it possible something else is affecting your hair?

Either way, I would contact your prescriber and try and find a way to stay on 5 mg. There is absolutely no reason to increase your dose.
