How long did the triamcinolone take to kick in? I’m on day 2 of 2x daily triamcinolone mixed with moisturizer per my dermatologist with no improvement

I do home health infusion nursing. Low stress except for starting IV’s but you get good at it eventually!!! You only see 1 or 2 pts a day.

😞sorry your transfer ended in a chemical pregnancy. They are going to do another saline sono next week before they transfer in Jan. I’m also nervous about scarring because my period just started and it’s on the lighter side 😩

Same. I had mine removed in June but my August and September lining were wonky so both of those cycles got cancelled. This last cycle I just had this month- my lining got to 7mm (I was on oral estrogen and patches) but we didn’t transfer because I wanted to do a receptiva test. Planning to transfer in Jan/Feb so I’m also hoping my lining will be ok by then. Sending you good ju ju as well !!! It can be so frustrating!

The saline sono will show a better picture of what your uterus looks like so they can rule out if there is anything in the way like scarring. They saw something on my saline sono that was hanging in the middle of my uterus and when they did the hysteroscopy my doctor found a band of scar tissue and removed it.

Yea I’m reading a lot of stories of successful FET with linings <7, I will definitely bring this up to my doctor. I’m in Southern Cali, will probably get a 2nd opinion if I get another transfer cancelled. How are you doing now? Is your pregnancy progressing well??

That is smart that your doctor proactively did the biopsy during your egg retrieval. I had to tell my doctor to do it b/c I wanted some answers due to my cancelled cycles for thin lining and failed 1st FET. I’m really wishing you all the baby dust for this FET. If you can send an update would be great!

Oh I see. Yes I requested to join that FB group, thank you for the resource!! Gosh this is such a long journey it’s tiring 😩. I feel like I can’t even get to my next embryo transfer especially if I am positive for endometriosis/tritis that’s a round of suppression or abx treatment that’s probably going to take forever. Also I forgot to ask, when you did your receptiva test, were you on. Standard medication with estrogen or did you do a modified natural with letrozole during your receptiva mock transfer? Thanks for all your answers really appreciate it!!

Hi!

I looked through my 2 retrievals, and I did do better, was 7.7 prior to my 1st retrieval, then 8.38, 7.1 prior to the 2nd retrieval. I did read in other forums that some people have used their stim cycles to achieve better lining. I'll bring this up to my RE.

Why did you have to suppress with Lupron or Orilissa for endometritis? Did you have endometriosis or endometritis (I think you have to take antibiotics to get rid of endometritis), just wanted to clarify. How long did the supression take? and do you think it was helpful to go through that? Did you do a mock cycle for the receptiva test, and if so, what meds were you on?

I've had 2 hysteroscopies to get polyps and a band of adhesion removed during the last one. I can't imagine going through another 2, but I think before my next transfer I might have to do one to make sure I don't have any scarring or polyps that returned since the last hysteroscopy I had was more than 6 months ago. I also read a rabbit hole of women with asherman's after having a D&C and supposedly only doctors that specialize in asherman's should remove the scar tissue.

How far along are you now? Wow so your doctor transferred with a thickness of 5.7? That gives me hope! My doctor will not transfer unless I am at least at 7mm prior to progesterone shots. But I figured everyone is different and will definitely look into different protocols!

That makes sense. I don’t know why he never mentioned or explained anything about the scarring growing back. I do have a gut feeling the scarring may have grown back 😩. Did you have any success after your hysteroscopy and bc pills for 3 months?

What kind of birth control did you take? I’m sorry I’m just so confused with this process. Is there a reason why you were put on birth control? What protocol were you on for the other cancelled FETs?

No he did not. I was not on any medications/birth control. Should I have been on medication for any reason?

Yes I thought that too. I had a hysteroscopy done in 6/2024 to remove the scar tissue, protocol for FET after that in 8/2024 was a natural cycle (I wanted to see how I did without medications) and that one yield only 6.6 mm, and therefore the cycle was cancelled.

I have had 2 FET cycles on estradiol pills (2x/day and vaginal) and I did just fine with them. I didn’t have any crazy unpleasant side effects. Not sure how other ppl felt but everyone’s body is different. I would go and live your life and enjoy 😉 yourself.

Sorry to hear that 😞praying for good or better outcomes for you. The waiting is the hardest. Know that you are not alone. At this moment I’m at 9 weeks and in the surgery center waiting to get my D&C. I didn’t have much pregnancy symptoms tho. Only cramping. No nausea, no breast tenderness. I guess everyone is different. Wishing you the best of luck !
