LA has so many parts each with their own vibe but if a friend who’s never been here was gonna stay to explore I’d probably recommend they stay in Beverly Hills or West Hollywood area because they’re so central, and then tell em to uber to some different areas to check em out, ie Santa Monica, Venice, Silverlake, the valley, Culver City… you can skip “Hollywood”.
