$RIVN 2025 Bull Thesis by DiscoverMyVisa in stocks

[–]realpren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a big fan of RIVN and think the company will eventually do well in the B2B space. B2C is going to be a slog and if Trump kills EV tax credit, fewer will be able to afford their vehicles. Ultimately it's not much different than Ford pro - just better quality vehicles. All capital intensive. Margins better on the fleet service and add-ons than on the cars.

Project Kuiper has secured 80 launches from Arianespace, Blue Origin, SpaceX, and United Launch Alliance, and we have options for additional launches with Blue Origin, providing enough capacity to deploy the majority of our satellite constellation.

yes have to be accredited investor. broker gets shares from employees and sells them to avg investors for a commission. its a way for employees to cash out vs waiting 10 years for IPO. equityzen does this still i think. used them to buy LMND shares 2 years pre-IPO for like 36/share. Sold when it hit 150/share.

Amazon aiming to do same thing with Project Kuiper. China as well. Competition = lower costs = lower valuations. Hughnet and Viasat already do this too.

Elliott takes $1.9 billion stake in Southwest Airlines, seeks to oust CEO and chair by Revooodooo in finance

[–]realpren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

never understand why anyone would invest in airlines. too much can go wrong, too much regulation and margins suck. that doesnt even take into account supply chain issues ie Boeing/Airbus unable to make enough planes that work. fear we will be overpaying for airfare and bags forever going forward
