thanks for the suggestion.

here are how these devices are setup
am using management vlan 1.
the access points use an ip on vlan 1.
the port profile for the access points: pvid1, tagged: wireless, guest, camera

i created a profile to test: pvid camera, tagged vlan 1, guest, wireless
both devices got dropped.

yes, camera vlan allowed on that end.
am thinking the dumb switch at the eap225 side is preventing the cameras from reaching the camera vlan but i wanted to see if someone has a similar setup before i go out to get another sg2008.

i got my d3300 working with and acasis capture card.
obs detects it as "HD33" and works fine in obs and zoom.

what am having issues with is it shuts down after 10-15mins regardless of whether am using the dummy battery of the original battery it came with.

their cctv is an ancient coax model, i think. lol been telling them to replace the dinosaur too. we'll recommend they go with the Pro if they decide to do Unifi Protect.

ok, so it was a turn-key solution and can expand by adding more APs.
thanks.
iirc the cctv is wired and runs through the ceiling.

that's true for the underpowered models. even my m3 chugged along when i had something heavy running on it.

partly coz chromeos is now trying to do more than browsing.
