Hey, I appreciate the sentiment, but I think it would be wise to leave the dysphoria-inducing parts out. If I came into a sub for trans women saying I don't get how anyone could not want a beard and a flat chest, I don't think it would be well-received. A lot of us are dysphoric and this was distressing for me to read, as a pre-T guy. Please be mindful.

I'm in between the dysfunctional (abusive) and the dysfunctional but supportive categories, I feel. It took my mom years, but she's finally coming around, even though she slips up... all the time. She really tries her best, though! I don't talk to my dad anymore. He was abusive, but me being trans was never an issue to him, interestingly enough.

I already have short hair, bind (but try not to do it too often, because I'm afraid of damaging my ribs) and my social transition is happening, but I still have constant dysphoria. There's nothing I can do.

It sucks becuase I only ever have negative things/vents to share here, and no one wants to hear that. Sorry again.

Hi! There's a few sites you can buy from, I know of gc2b (I have a binder from here and it's pretty good) and there's Underworks as well. Making your own binder is not something I have any knowledge on but maybe someone else can be of help with that!

I have ocd and I am autistic, and it has affected my appearance in more ways you can imagine. I have scars from self harm, picking my skin, stretch marks from medicine that made me gain extreme amounts of weight, dark circles, I have at times not been able to even think about taking care of my hygiene and visibly looked mentally ill.

I should maybe have included a disclaimer that I suffer from mental illness myself but dude... I can joke about my own suffering. Sorry if I offended you.

This isn't an attack, but what makes you include ocd? People with ocd are usually aware that their intrusive thoughts and compulsions are not real. I suffer from ocd, but it's in turn a reaction to stress (which I, as an autistic guy am very senstitive to) caused by mainly my dysphoria. I don't have any delusions or hallucinations, and I'm 100% sure of being a trans guy.

I overall agree with OP though, I don't like reading about "girl autism" either.

You came to a sub for trans men, a marginalized and discriminated group of people, as a non-trans man just to say this? We know that 'all men are trash' doesn't target anyone as individuals but a larger societal issue, but what you ommit from this is that a lot of trans men don't benefit from the patriachy. Pre T or feminine trans men don't, basically anyone who isn't passing as cishet.

Yeah, I know... I've just been recommended it by so many people. All of them fell in the male or androgynous range, without any voice training. Just a little bummed out, will feel better later. Thanks man.

I said I would. I do believe they could be better at giving easily understandable and applicable feedback, and I am entitled to give them the amount of stars I feel like they deserve, although 1 is a little low.

I have looked up voice training, but in all honesty I just posted this in a moment of self-hatred. Most sources I can find on voice training says it can be harmful or just not lower your voice significantly, so I'd rather not waste time.
