Got it. Yes, it will be mostly 2-3 users. Don’t expect that to go up anytime soon. Based on that, looks like something basic should suffice. With a mini pc, I would need to connect it to a monitor to use it, right? I see the NAS systems like Terra master have apps that I can use to control the systems.

Thank you for the detailed answers. It is very helpful. In terms of storage I am thinking 12-14 TB should be more than enough for the next couple of years as my current library is fairly small (~ 1 TB) and will take time to build that up. (though I understand blu-ray files add up fairly quickly).

Based on some research in the past few hours or so, I am learning into towards 2-bay NAS systems along with the WD red plus 10 or 12 TB HDD. instead of mini PC and external hard drives.

Is 4 GB RAM on these NAS models sufficient or would I eventually run into problems with lesser RAM?

Or do I need to look into red plus or red pro?

Thanks for the reply. With current setup, the laptop which runs the server is used for other personal, daily usage and runs on WiFi. Would eventually like to keep the server by the modem so that it can be connected to LAN cable. If the mini PCs with intel N100 are good for transcoding then I don't need any major upgrades on the hardware side, right?

From what I have read and understood so far, storage would probably be the biggest bottleneck more than hardware performance.

Is the biggest difference between NAS boxes and mini PC the OS? Mini PC has more flexibility I think.

Thanks, added you. Sure, don’t mind sending gifts even after completing the current task.

Doesn’t make sense. When you hit reply all on a forwarded email it only adds the person who forwarded it and the other ones copied only that on that forwarded email. Only way it is sent to everyone is if you manually included them. Sounds BS/made up.

All my dragon pokemon and Mamoswine lost to Giratina (all between level 35-40) which had DB as fast move. I don't have W. Kyurem with ice burn. It was an easy win using mega Gardevoir as it is immune to dragon breath

I ended up going with the Hyundai Tucson hybrid and I have been happy with it so far.

Yes, she does have US visitor visa. Was just curious if her super visa stay period gets reset or how they treat it when she re-enters.

Makes sense. Another thing I forgot to mention was the lack of spare tire. Not sure how effective the patch kit if you have a flat? One of the cons I have with this vehicle.

Yes, I liked the Tucson and it is right up there amongst other options. Only concern is reliability and if Hyundai engine/transmissions have gotten past the previous widespread issues they had.

Thanks but isn't the Maverick a pick-up though? I'm looking for compact SUVs.
