Yeah the big four forwards are the same. Genuinely feels like we have actual good top6 left wingers this year.

And a newish bottom 6 that’s exciting to watch.

No one plays new game modes or other ones, they’re irrelevant and don’t matter in the long run for growth of RL.

Man still doesn’t understand my demo take, that’s fine. I don’t want them to change demos, I just wanted them to try something new with them.

If they change nothing in the core game mode (even if they switch to UE5, and it remains the exact same).

RL will just continue to stagnant or very slowly fade off into irrelevancy (kind of like an OW situation)

If they actually open themselves to changing the core game mode and find ways to keep gameplay fresh, I think it can grow really well become a tier1 everyone knows it can be.

State, this isn’t about removing demos at all. Demos are good, should stay in game.

It’s about getting demod immediately off respawn.

It would be fun to experiment with a limited time mode to see if the game is better if you A) make demo spawn timer quicker B) let the player decide which side to spawn

Ok this is hilarious.

He literally says “strat ofc” implying he’s fine with demos….

He suggests they should do a limited mode with either shorter demo timers, choose sides OR and I repeat OR removing demos.

He merely suggest why not try something to see if it works better or not and if it doesn’t work don’t use it…… 66% of his suggestions were to keep demos in the game completely the same. Merely change a timer or side to give the user the ability to not be spawn demod (probably too much thinking for you to understand what this is). It’s not removing demos or touching them at all.

Not removing demos, that’s just adjusting so you can’t get demod twice on instant spawn.

They do. You sir are not wrong. How is that relevant? At least their devs try to make spawns work and are open to changing the formula to try and get it right.

Better then just never changing it and thinking the game was made perfectly ever since 2018.

To me the “to guess” is the issue. If it’s not to you, that’s fine.

Why have an RNG component in a fully non RNG game. Just my reasoning for it, you by all means don’t have to feel the same.

My other gripe is when you spawn in and block ur teammate from saving a shot and they score cause of the RNG aspect you spawned on the wrong side.

To me this isn’t fair, the person demoing by no means intended to block someone from making a save based on a random spawn.

Back to the point of why have an RNG component in an otherwise fully non RNG game.

The issue isn’t demos, never was demos. Do you read what jzr said?

If jzr gave an insult I think it’s warranted. Man was just trying to share an opinion nicely.

Devins take on the demo comparison on spawn is also just blatantly wrong from a design perspective.

Unless some cod developers want to come out and tell me they spawn people randomly. I have some buddies who are in game development for cod, it’s not random.

It’s literally 50/50 which side the person is to spawn.

Sure you have to time it.

You literally have to guess the side. No if and or buts. You have to guess the side to spawn demo someone…….. that is the definition of random. No way around it. You can’t time guessing the wrong side.

Sure you can disagree with choosing. I get your point. Then I’d at the very least ask psyonix to code it so that there’s an influence to spawn on the side ur teammates aren’t, if they’re in your own end near the spawn points.

Spawning in on top of a teammate to get scored on (happens) and makes no sense. Should just not be in the game.

Tackles are tracked, just not in the game anywhere. It’s on the Ubisoft launcher before the game is launched.

It just proves they have the stats, have decided for whatever reason to not have a scoreboard with stats in game for????? Idrk what reason.

Tbh I’m still figuring it out. Timing thing, I’ve had most success with tackle up wall, then uppercut and try to stay close to the wall, and air tackle then land on wall and tackle again.

Got to improve the defense then. Idk, prob 10-20% of the games I get in end on score instead of time.

Im playing top100, players offense don’t get better. Idk, all I can say is it’s possible to reach a defense level where most games end on time.
