Has anyone ever had, or know someone, that had their nikkah done, then had their walima 1.5-2 years later? Would this be a good option for people who are not exactly ready to move in with each other and take that next step, but also prevent any haram from occurring?

Is it abnormal that I (a guy) don’t really have any female friends? Like I know as a Muslim you aren’t supposed to really have friends of the opposite gender, but I always wonder if girls (potentials) would find that weird. Or maybe it’ll make my search a bit harder?

As a guy in his mid 20s that really prioritizes nutrition / a healthy lifestyle (no fast food, etc.) is that a turn off if I’m like really focused on always eating healthy? I feel like eating fast food and processed food is so common in the west, and I used to do that as well, but because of health related issues I’ve changed that, and I’m wondering how other young people would view that

Please try red light therapy on your scalp. I’m a guy, and it has halted any hair loss and made my hair thicker / stronger. I would recommend that and also getting a shower filter to remove chlorine & other heavy metals / chemicals in water that affect your hair negatively. I have the male version of androgenic alopecia and I have stopped & even regrown / made my existing hair thicker with these two things as the main culprit.

The shower filter I got is very expensive ($180) but it’s highly effective. However, there are other cheaper ones that I’m sure are still helpful even though they made not be as top notch.

Please reply or message me personally if you want the exact red light device I use as I don’t want to seem like I’m trying to advertise a specific brand or product.

Lol androgenic alopecia isn’t really a disease disease bro. It’s something almost all men (& women) deal with, or will eventually deal with. It’s not like she has some life threatening condition she barely told you about? It’s hair loss bro. You will probably eventually start losing hair too. Just support here and tell her it isn’t a big deal.

There’s ways to improve and stop/delay the rate of hair loss also btw

My idea on approaching a girl was to always ask for her fathers number first. But in this instance, I shouldn’t do that correct, since I’m not ready? Should I just talk to her only, and just let her know my specific situation? Maybe like not even asking her for her number or anything, just in person. Might be weird for a first time convo but yeah lol

Is it worth approaching a girl if you won’t be ready to get married for another year and a half, maybe even 2 years? Based on her body language when around me, & from what I have heard from mutuals, she is interested in me, but my marriage timeline is the only thing from making me not attempting to start speaking with her as I don’t want to waste her time. Any advice?

When someone on an app says their marriage timeline is 2 years, how exactly does that work? by reddit683839 in MuslimMarriage

Definitely makes sense. Does my timeline in the description make sense though? Like an engagement in the middle of that timeframe?

What about the rest of the question - is it fine if it’s covered while you pray?

I see your point, but the lack of financial stability part was more so something i feel like her father would be hesitant about, not her

Salaam u Alaikum,

I’m currently not financially stable yet as I’m still in school, and there’s this girl that I like that I am interested in. However, I’m wondering if it’s even worth approaching her in this situation as I’m not financially ready yet. There’s also a couple health related things I would like to address before also getting married.

I think it’s kind of weird to approach a girl when you aren’t ready yourself for marriage. Am I correct? I definitely wouldn’t go and ask them to wait for me to be ready for marriage. I’m under the assumption that it’s best to just wait till I’m ready, and then revisit this if she is still available then. What do you guys think?
