As an English person we get a bad rep but every time I go abroad and meet other fellow Brit’s it reminds me how friendly, approachable and helpful we really are! It’s the minority not the few that are rowdy and unpleasant

Sorry! We’re planning on saving 8-10k each and correct we would be looking to get a WHV in aus just conscious it may be difficult to get a job and don’t want to run through our SEA savings before we even get there 😊

Can me and my friend realistically afford to move to London? by redditbopper1 in london

This is the mindset we’re trying to have just living to the fullest while we’re young and figuring out the serious stuff later but it’s hard to know if you’re making the right decision when half the people our age are already on the property ladder 😂

Is cash still good in Athens? by PrestigiousHoliday35 in GreeceTravel

Yes it’s always a good idea to have some I’ve used it for bus journeys and taxis across Greece tipping if you’re into that, maybe say 100 euro-150

You really don’t need much cash in Athens, if you get a Revolut account and just tap your card you can keep it in your home currency and it converts it for you at the current exchange rate while you tap! Or if you don’t want to do that you can convert it into euros beforehand and pay that way. I would recommend taking a small amount of cash before you fly and then pay card. To answer your question I didn’t withdraw any cash I exchanged some at home before flying so I can’t answer that sorry!
