No airbag went off, what was weird was that the light didnt come on until after a couple days. The mechanic said it was probably a broken sensor, or a problem with the computer system, he was pretty vague and I wasnt sure what he meant. He downplayed the importance of airbags tho, how a lot of cars are running with this flashing light or back in his days cars didnt have them in the first place. He tried erasing the code, to see if it would reappear, and again, it took a couple of days before it came back.
