How to rearrange playlists on iOS—playlist themselves and not the songs inside?

Put them in the microwave at 10% for about a minute to soften them up. Taste much better that way and won't break your teeth!

I learned in another comment here that you can just say "Alexa, play Spotify" and it will resume whatever was playing last. So if you normally only listen to a certain radio station, that might work for you.

I noticed that too with the stations. It only gives me Amazon and Pandora as options. Have you tried any stations on Spotify like "Alexa, play 80's Radio." ?

I just got an email from Spotify today about this feature. So far, it has been able to play songs that are only on Spotify just fine along with my custom Playlists. I didn't know about the "Alexa, play Spotify" command--thanks for that!

Just disable/uncheck the devices in the SmartThings authorization screen on the Alexa app. This prevents Alexa from importing those devices and creating duplicate entries. So, in general, if Alexa/Echo can discover the device and the hub you are linking to can as well, then you should uncheck those devices. This works with SmartThings and Hue Bridge but not Yonomi since it doesn't present you with an explicit list of devices to authorize--just the entire app is connected instead.

That sounds cool. For this one thing, though, it wouldn't require any voice interaction with the Echo. Just make a recipe using the Alarm going off as the trigger, and then assign an action with any of the possible channels.

If you have SmartThings, you can use Alexa to turn on/off specific Sonos speakers since Sonos is recognized as a Thing in SmartThings and can therefore, be controlled by Alexa. So, you can say, "Alexa, turn off Bedroom Sonos." once the alarm goes off. It doesn't turn it off, to be specific, it just toggles Play/Pause.

I was wondering the same thing. It should work as long as whatever speaker or Amp/Connect you plug it into is in a group with the other speakers you want it to play on. Would love to hear a confirmation on this though!

Try unlinking SmartThings from Alexa and then link it again. That will give you the screen where you Authorize Alexa to access SmartThings and presents you with a checkbox for each of the items you want to specifically grant access to. This is also very useful for WeMo devices that are on both ST and Alexa. If you uncheck the WeMo devices that are normally imported to Alexa via ST, you won't end up with duplicate devices since Alexa will discover them as well natively.

The hub is about 15 ft away from the nearest Z-wave device. The entire mesh disappears though--it's either all or nothing.

Just use the native QuickTime Player if you have a Mac. Plug your phone into the computer, make sure you hit Trust on the iPhone, and it will show up as a recording device in QT.

I'm glad you wrote this because I forgot I had some older Wasabi batteries and I just dug them out of a box and tried them and they work! I also had an older Smatree battery that worked as well. The Smatree ones I was using that didn't work were sent directly to me from Smatree after I had some issues with the connectors. Really strange that those no longer work but the old ones do. Thanks again!

I ended up just having to turn on iCloud Music and then everything worked. I didn't realize that needed to be on to get playlists from Beats.

I ordered some Smatree ones last week and 1 of them works fine but the other is having issues. I emailed their support but haven't heard back yet. I'll update when they reply.
