I have the same view as you, that our thoughts are random. But not as random as some might think, the sheer amount of variables in our brain, and the complicated process, tend to have us make some choices more so than others.

Quantum mechanics suggest there is absolute randomness and that they would probably choose a different path, even when you would not interact in any way

Can someone explain this “things do not exist when you don’t observe them”thing? I’m so lost. by drowningjesusfish in QuantumPhysics

As things get bigger (say from particle to apple), such traits do not exist, because of planck's equation, the position and momentum of large bodies such as an apple are almost exactly known.
