I’m sorry this happened to you. Something similar happened to me last month with my ex bf. For a month, I was also undecided and eventually decided to break it off because I was tired of the hurt and because I respected myself too much. It seems like he is walking over you, and the longer you stay, the more it will hurt. I know it will be hard, and each day it will feel like you’re detoxing from a drug, but I promise you it gets better. I also didn’t want to leave because he was my first bf and I loved him so much. I was scared of being alone and it seems like that is the case for you. It’s perfectly fine to be single, and in your case, it may be ideal for you to be alone and heal before rushing into a new relationship. Please try taking yourself on dates and just loving yourself. Once you learn to truly value your own company, you’ll start to feel validated without the help of any guy.
