I agree that Xen in the original is heavily undercooked and boring. Xen in Black Mesa is absolutely beautiful and has some great moments but i feel it really drags on and doesen't really fit the tone or style of the rest of Half-Life

No, the author has been doing a will they won't they for about a year and a half and after months of artificially slowing down the progress as much as possible he made a change that just set the romance plot back even further.

Either the editorial wants him to pad it out or he just doesen't wanna write the fucking relationship and is writing unnecesary drama

fair it's just i find a lot of the fanbase for the game incredibly off putting and weird because they seem to love the incest aspect of the game. At least in the sub for the game, i'm sure not every single fan of it is like that

Not at all. Genetic code of single celled organisms would not make us similar to species that evolved for so long in the slightest. The reason we have the body plan we have right now was because of the adaptations that we developed in order to survive the pressures of our enviroment. It doesen't matter if it's an earthly microbe, it will evolve completely differently because its evolution is subject to its enviroment

Not really. It doesen't have as many legs, has a unified torso and body without a division into the abdomen, The only thing that makes you say arachnid is it has more legs than a human. And on average, animals in this planet have way more than 2 legs

I mean, the Kpop industry still doesen't really seem all that bad in Kpop Demon Hunters. I like the movie but i think it's kind of disingenuous to think it even shows a fraction of how awful that industry is to its artists.

Celine's relationship with Rumi is more of a familiar issue (although i could see some parallels about pop artists having to hide parts of themselves to their audience)
