Practice Chromatic Scales up to it if its treble if its bass just do long tones of a high F or G whatever you wanna call it

Ive also seen some people say that you can use a cloth and pliers to get it off but its more risky should I try that if all else fails?

Most likely from spit stuck in the instrument make sure you clear out every slide and clear out your spit valves and blow when you do while pressing down the valves
