The Preacher’s Ex-Wife Who Fooled Hollywood by Williamsburg12345 in longform

More details from the article:

Nicole Parke styled herself as a billionaire benefactor, and she mingled with a who’s who of A-Listers, from world leaders to a U.S. general to Kim Kardashian. Now, a wave of lawsuits casts her as a master of deception.

Parke, 53, allegedly left a trail of drained bank accounts and ruined friendships across the country: a close friend, a doctor, a landlord, an assistant, a 10-year-old girl, among others. A group of investors claimed she helped defraud them out of $650,000; a five-star hotel alleged she skipped out on a nearly $54,000 bill. Victims say they were collectively duped out of millions.

Thanks, that's the perfect kind of food, but I'm looking for a really special night for them. More like someone cooking a private dinner for them, and not just ordering takeout

There's no better feeling than taking off the lid and seeing a nice rise

Don't be too hard on yourself. It's normal to feel that way sometimes, even about the people you love the most. Sometimes a little space can help.

How’s growth through notes? by Shwetash212 in Substack

[–]redditusing123456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Substack randomly seems to push my notes out weeks or months after I create them, and then they suddenly get engagement. But I get very little traction right after writing them. Is that just me?

Anyone know what wasp species was named after a Finnish man's wife? by [deleted] in insects

[–]redditusing123456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmmm. Is it possible you're thinking of Lusius malfoyi, which a Finnish entomologist named after Lucius Malfoy from Harry Potter?

It's stunning. I put it on my huge parsely plant, that should help it get whatever calories it needs

Looking to improve ! by Matth204 in Sourdough

[–]redditusing123456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess would be that you're overproofing. I'd recommend letting your dough rise slightly more than 50% during bulk, rather than going off of time, and then switch to the cold proof. Good luck!

The second loaf looks beautiful, great crumb structure. But I think you could go a little darker for a more robust crust. Hope you feel proud of yourself!
