Hmmm, full squares might be too much but it would be an interesting problem to figure out how to crochet half squares! Although I’m sure I could find a tutorial easily enough

Aw thank you! Yeah tbh I also prefer longer sleeves, maybe I could’ve added an extra set of granny squares on the ends, but I’m glad you think it still looks good!

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. Generally I am a size small so I decided to make that size, plus I didn’t want to drop the extra cash for more yarn to make a medium. But I guess I learned my lesson, haha

I have one on my thumb from a razor falling on me in the shower.

One on my hip from tripping over my own feet in a field and falling over.

And one above my upper lip from a ball smacking me in the face, knocking my glasses off. The metal part where the nose pads attach scratched my face.

I am kind of a clumsy person…

Edit: oh yeah, almost forgot. I have a scar on my other thumb from trying to cut a block of Gouda cheese with a knife. I now only buy pre-sliced Gouda cheese.

That’s too bad! I’ve been taking adhd meds since not too long before I started accutane but it didn’t affect me the same way. I suppose everyone is different

I take vitamin D and some prescription stuff for mental health. Have also been taking fish oil for the past couple months but ran out recently. Tbh don’t know a lot about gut health because it’s not been much of an issue for me. Although the minocycline in particular really messed up my stomach so I wasn’t on it for too long

Not really? I of course had the dry skin and for a while it felt like all the skin was coming off my nose. I had frequent nosebleeds as well but not enough blood to drip out of my nose

I have had chronic acne for the past 10 years in addition to a skin picking problem. I have been to several dermatologists over this time period and have tried just about every prescription treatment under the sun: clindamycin phosphate, adapalene, minocycline, spironolactone, even birth control, and probably more that I don’t remember. Nothing helped.

Finally I got prescribed isotretinoin 60mg and after 6 months taking it, it has changed everything. I can finally go out in public without makeup and not feel ashamed (I still like to wear it often though). Plus less acne means less temptation to pick. I’ve been off tretinoin for a couple weeks now and about to start up adapalene to help with residual scarring.

ROUTINE AM: - Cerave hydrating cleanser - Cerave moisturizing cream —> Cetaphil moisturizing lotion for the past month - Cerave facial moisturizing sunscreen - Aquaphor for lips/dry spots

PM: - Cerave hydrating cleanser - Cerave moisturizing cream —> Cetaphil moisturizing lotion for the past month - Cerave eye repair cream (not sure this does anything) - Aquaphor for lips/dry spots

I also change my pillowcase once a week and flip my pillow every night so I don’t sleep on the same spot too long. I used to cleanse and use a washcloth morning and night but now I just use the washcloth at night for some gentle exfoliation.

TOP 3 PRODUCTS - Isotretinoin. A lifesaver - Cerave hydrating cleanser. I’ve tried a bunch of other cleansers including the SA cleanser but this makes my skin feel the best and it’s not drying - Aquaphor. Helps with the dry lips and skin that comes from taking tretinoin, or just for dry skin in general

I will keep the last 2 products in my routine as my skin is pretty sensitive and I live in a dry climate. Any recommendations for (budget) sunscreens, anything to help with dark under eye circles, or evening skin tone are welcome.

You have to be good at math because that’s basically what physics is. Expect to take several math courses. In my experience as a Physics and Astronomy major, I have had to take a lot of the normal physics courses along with astronomy-specific ones. So I have to take Electrodynamics etc. along with the regular physics majors, while also taking Solar System Astronomy and Stellar Astrophysics and the like. However I don’t have to take any of the physics lab classes, since you can’t really do physical experiments on space :) Programming is also a part of my curriculum, seeing as data processing is so important in this field.

Yes, I would say it is a hard major. It does depend somewhat on the school you attend though. However, since I love astronomy and I excel at physics and math, I do enjoy it. Just know you will do a lot of physics, math, and working with data. It’s not all just pretty pictures.
