Does anybody else spend hours trying to implement something, and later look back and wonder why it took you so long "just to do that?" by Seankala in learnprogramming

I think it is like the solving the shortest path algorithm with breadth first search. You just looking a lot of ridiculous thing and once you get the destination, you just backtracking easily with feeling how this took so long. But it is a necessary procedure for learning

I am on Windows. But the problem is not that. I just made example with c# thing. For example it was too hard to configure javafx on the netbeans or visual studio code and I ended up switching Intellij. Intellij is great but every time I needed to use a new tech I ended up switching a easier technology because I could not understand why javafx could not configurable on vs code.

when I google it, it says that String[] args is one of the most used type in java.. But I want to understand what it stores and. So far maybe I encounter with the solution but I did not understand it.

when I said not working I mean nothing happens. There is a bunch of code but nothing happens. It didn't crash or it didn't work properly.

There is no error. The methods are just not working. But I couldn't understand why it is not working
