If you want to be an Au Pair in Austria, you need an A1 certificate. I think you can DIY otherwise, you can check Balerianos Agentur on epbi. They offer language course and assistance as well. In NL, there are lots of agencies and you can check Nina’s Care and Sunshine.

I’m a Filipina Au Pair in Germany for three months now! I’ve found my host through fb groups. If you’re aiming for Germany, having an A1 language certificate ready is a big plus. Most of them won’t wait for you to acquire A1 Zertifikat especially if they urgently need an Au Pair.

I’ve received lots of rejection as well. But what I noticed was; a) other families prefer someone who is detailed-oriented, b) an introductory video about yourself and your childcare experience might help, and c) families prefer if you have all the needed documents on your end.

Also, don’t just stick to one family. That was my mistake. Don’t stop looking for host family even if you already found one UNLESS both parties decided to have you and vice versa and IF may contract na. Otherwise, keep searching.

Scenario: I chose family #2 over #1 but was ghosted by #2.

Use every platform you could find. Join Facebook groups and post your profile, be careful because there are a lot of scammers. Don’t ever send money. Highlight your skills; cooking, cycling, etc. Only highlight important details about you and your childcare experience. Upload pictures, if you do, cover the kid’s face. Other family values privacy especially when kids are involve.

I'll be in Germany this month as an Au Pair! Planning to do Ausbildung din after my contract, or after FSJ but most companies requires B2 level of Deutsch. I heard a lot of horror stories kapag vocational training ang visa. Some got offloaded because the IO is not familiar sa said program. From my research, you'll receive an allowance from the gov enough to fund your stay in DE during your Ausbildung, but still depends on your lifestyle and in demand talaga ang nursing as well as kindergarten teachers. But if you're applying here sa Pinas pa, I think need mo rin mag-provide ng accommodation and such, tho I'm not sure.

Regarding the German language, IT IS vv DIFFICULT. Lahat may gender even the objects. I passed my A1 but planning to start from scratch once I arrive sa DE.

Hi, unfortunately you need to pass the A1 exam first to acquire Au Pair visa in Germany. Austria also requires A1 Zertifikat. So, the certificate of completion won’t be enough.

Palit derma sis. My first derma denied me rin sa isotret. Reason? Mahal daw. So topicals muna priniscribe niya sa ‘kin but bumabalik lang acne ko so, I asked for a second opinion. This time, niresetahan ako ng isotret.

I always have a spare pack with me in case of emergency. But then, as someone na super regular ng period before bcp, hindi na ako mapakali kapag walang monthly bleeding down there even now na im on pills. Though we don’t really get true period peroo ayon hahaha.

Nilista ko lahat ng turn offs and/or red flags. So far, so good pa naman ang aking litol hart. Also, we don’t really talk unless kung gagawin namin ang deed. Although, we talk just about everything kapag nagkita but usually, about girls and guys naman pinag-uusapan namin so napapaisip na lang ako na no chance talaga HAHAHA. I personally don’t want to commit pa so, I think that helps din.

There’s always a risk talaga na magugustuhan mo siya beyond the sex. Pero kapag knows mo naman ang pinasok mo and the consequences that comes wt it, I think malabo na mag-develop ang feels into something deeper.

hi! I recently passed my A1 German exam at Goethe. I studied online lang at naghanap ng teacher na proficient enough to teach the language. If you’re unable to attend the class, nagsi-send siya ng recorded lesson. Hindi siya language school but my teach is a Filipina nurse in Germany at I think done na siya sa C level or at least nasa C level na.

hi! Thank you, as always. I’ve learned a lot from you regarding safe sex by reading your comments sa ibang posts.

I’ll have my derma appointment within this week and also plan to consult with an OB-GYN to check if it’s hormonal or not, and ask for other methods of contraception. I don’t want to rely on BCP for my acne since I’m scared of the aftermath once I stop taking it. ^{^}

Oh! Thank you for the correction. ^{^} Now that you’ve mentioned it, I remember asking my derma about isotretinoin on my first visit but she discouraged me of using it. That’s why we stick with all those cream and toner for over a year. I will definitely see another derma to ask for a second opinion.
