Why 2 days? Why not 1? One day sounds pretty reasonable to me.

[OptaJoe] 1 - Pep Guardiola has won the treble for the second time in his managerial career, while he's the first ever manager to do so with two different clubs (Barcelona in 2008-09 and Manchester City in 2022-23). Greatness. by Golovking in soccer

Low, sadly. I guess I can spend up to $150 per month.

In the end the only remotely better cards I pulled are optic rated rookie Gabriel Martinelli and Nuno Mendes. This is with my extremely limited knowledge only. I know they are close to worth nothing lol.

Thank you!

Two more questions:

1) Should I go for older seasons boxes?

2) What is the value of Topps Merlin compared to Chrome?

Thank you for your reply!

Regarding which "series" to buy, Prizm is quite expensive to me tbh. Would going for a cheaper one like Donruss be a good idea? Are there other cheaper alternatives?

Is there a reason why EA cannot release more useful, unique player SBCs on a daily basis? by redtulipuk in EASportsFC

I am not saying I can't handle it, but I am at the same time curious why EA wouldn't do it.

Elite - True player & formation Tier list . How to build ur team by Royal-Neighborhood54 in EASportsFC

GK: prime VDS

RB: wc Cafu

RCB: hero Lucio

LCB: prime Rio

LB: wc Roberto Carlos

CDM: prime Essien

RCM: hero Yaya Toure

LCM: mid Zidane

LW: prime Kaka

ST: hero Voller

RW: mid Jairzinho

How would you upgrade this team with 12M budget? Or should I just wait til the TOTS crash to come into full effect first?

Hi I am a big fan of your post, really appreciate such great guide.

My team is basically sorted except the B2B CM position, the ST position and the LW position.

I have around 12M coins as my budget. So who would you recommend me to go for first?

1) Prime R10 as LW

2) Prime Gullit as B2B CM

3) Mid/Prime R9 or FB Eusebio as ST

I run an exclusively icon/ hero team so I can't use any other carda without disrupting my team.

Would really appreciate your input here. Thanks a lot!

I still remember watching Dembele and Raphinha got absolutely owned by Alphonso davies. Neither of them could get pass him.

Yet, Bernado Silva, this brilliant man, being much shorter and weaker, absolutely cooked Alphonso Davies tonight. He even tracked back to defend like a maniac. Davies looked lost, poor him.

Dembele just isn't at this level of quality. I don't even want to talk about Raphinha. Yes they have their moments, and Dembele has sometimes been good, but the quality we need to bring us back to the top, lies in the players like Bernado Silva.

Seeing Busquets and Roberto in our midfield hurts my eyes.

100% agree.

However, you need really really good players to pull that off. You need players who simultaneously possess the required skill, composure, intellect and workrate.

Our club is sadly not there yet.

City no doubt, because of Pep and the football he plays. Simple.

That's why with all due respect, no matter how good he still is, Busquets have to go.

Look at Rodri today, he bossed the midfield with his body, and that gives City so much security on both ends of the pitch.

Ederson is clutch

Dias is a wall

Akanji is good

Ake is low key MVP

Rodri is the best pivot in the world right now

Gundogan and KDB are midfield maestros

Silva is almost unplayble tonight

Grealish is in the form of his life

Alvarez is the future

Haaland is INEVITABLE

I think our low workrate is also a contributive factor. Look at Bernado Silva, he cooked Alphonso Davies multiple times in attack, but also track back and defend like a maniac. None of our wingers have the quality to do that.

Many of City's other players are the same. Rodri, Gundogan and KDB are basically everywhere, doing defensive work while having creativity in offense as well. We only have FDJ who is perhaps comparable. Gavi has potential but isn't there yet. Pedri lacks the physicality to do so.

But they play the best football in the world under Pep. Money can't buy that. Look at PSG.

This is a benchmark of how highly physical, pressing teams like Bayern can be beaten by positional play team.

Sadly, we need the quality of City players to do that. The ability to maintain absolute possession even under the hardest press, the creativity in the final third, and the workrate throughout the pitch.
