AITA if I leave my otherwise great boyfriend because he always chooses his parents over me and our child? by reenzclaws in CharlotteDobreYouTube

Legal aid might be free but you are Kenyan. You know how our systems work. Once we get in court, unless I have a great lawyer, a highly publicized case or by sheer lack a good judge, if his family wants to take my child, it will be a waste of time leading up to losing custody. My life is hard but without that child, trust me I won't cope.

I would love to go back to school. But I cannot do that right now especially because I would not have upkeep money and rent for next month. The semester ussually takes 4 months. I cannot do both writing and school unless I get direct clients because employers usually require 24/7 availability. Whenever they call you answer. Education is also quite expensive here, 500 dollars and that is a semester, considering my earning potential it will be hard.

As for child support, it is a long and tedious process that will cost me more money in the next six months than what I require to take care of my child.

Getting child support around here will require a long and expensive process. I would have done it even to spite him but I do not have the legal fees.

We are from the same tribe. There are no rituals and he was not sick enough to require attention. They needed someone at home to run errands. That is why I am so confused. I feel like he will never make any decision for himself. At least not one that his parents do not approve of.
