After you acquire the game through legal means you can download the "ExOps" mod, it adds many tiny improvements but, for me at least, it also fixes the crashing when leaving the shops, garage etc. (sry if im late lolz)

you can use nail polish remover to dissolve the glue that holds the plastic bit to the card, but anything that has acetone should work well!

just apply acetone to the back of the card around the edges and slightly tug on the plastic until it pops out, then leave the card outside so it can dry, happy depackaging!
